Acting as the main Protective Service Care Manager for older adults, which involves receiving reports of the need for protective services, investigating reports received, assessing the needs of protective services consumers, developing and coordinating the implementation of service plans for protective services consumers. Protective service involves activities, resources and support provided to older adults to detect, prevent, reduce or eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation and abandonment. After being state certified to perform protective service investigations, the investigator will be responsible for following PDA state regulations on Policy and Procedures for protective services. The investigator will be taking protective service referrals after normal working hours on an on-call basis, during hours that are designated by the supervisor.
