The Office of Aging contracts with 2 providers that are able to provide Personal Emergency Response Services in the home. 

What is a Personal Emergency Response Unit? It's a unit that is installed in your home that is directly connected to Emergency Response Services.  Another party will also be assigned as an emergency contact and will be notified of the emergency pendant being activated.

These are used in many instances such as falls, fires, or someone just not feeling well.   

This service is based on a person's monthly income and a cost share fee scale provided by the Department of Aging.
